Chattra Pranayama Bolster - Black Bandhani
|Availability:||In stock (1)|
Black Bandhani Pranayama Bolster’s delicate, complicated pattern is inspired by the dots and circles of bandhani tie and dye textiles. From the word bandhan, Hindi for tying up, bandhani is used in the turbans, saris and skirts of Rajasthan and Gujurat.
Hand-block printed in jet black for depth and richness. Finished with illuminating orange piping and a colorful tassel like those seen on the camels of Rajasthan’s great Thar Desert. Divine in any home practice or studio interior.
Place a chattra pranayama bolster along your spine for support and expansion during deep breath practice. Also provides support to reduce strain and enhance relaxation during restorative yoga poses. Aids in deepening poses, and offers assistance when practicing while pregnant and when learning asanas.
100% cotton cover hand-crafted in India; integrated handle; lined with 100% cotton liner; hand-packed in the USA with US-grown clean cotton.
The artisan's hand work is revealed in each chattra textile, including print density and block alignment; imperfections are characteristic and add to the charm of this traditional technique.
